  6. Went to DG in Lakeland, Florida for hair color. They were also priced at $3. I picked up other items and 2 hair color the cashier who was also the Asst. Manager REFUSED to take my coupon.. Kept giving me that the coupon is more than the product and after pointing out several times that its off of 2 and that I had 2 and that the coupon wasnt more than the product she still refused to accept my coupon.. She was very rude…. So needless to say I walked out and didnt purchase anything from them.

    1. had the exact same problem here in seminole fl. Going to another store this evening to try it again….

      1. i had that problem too at two different stores.. there excuse was its not pictured… so i left. i don’t feel like putting up with that anymore so i doubt ill be going back to dollar general. aghhhh.

  7. Thanks Greg! You should check out  Free dinner coupons Once you sign up you get like one meal every month from chilis or other restaurants so for me thats not bad! This is such an awesome resource thanks

  8. I tried this deal today at my local store and coupons wouldn’t scan (said no item found). She tried to manually do it and it said amount couldn’t exceed $3.00 so she couldn’t override it. I asked if she could take $2.50 off each but she said no because the coupons have to match for their records. I’ve noticed that the cashiers even have to initial each coupon used.

  9. Here in AZ my Dollar General refused to take my coupon as well saying the picture did not match and it wasnt for that item so i ended up only getting the BIC MALE RAZOR ON SALE $3.25 USED MY $3 OFF COUPON AND ONLY PAID $0.25 EACH I BOUGHT 8 TOTAL PAID $2

  10. I used my 2 coupons for this deal & got 4 of them. The cashier did have to manually put it in cause I wouldn’t scan. She did It by taking the $2.50 off of each item. That’s how she had to do it to get it to go through. She said she was also a couponer, told her I saw about the deal from your site & she said shw was also going to start following you. Here lately I have seen more cashiers that are also couponers & that helps.. 🙂 I am starting to learn which cashiers are coupon friendly & which ones are not. I been couponing for a little over a year & don’t think I can ever stop.
