I tried the razor scenario but it didn’t work. The cashier manually took off $6.85 and not the entire $10.00. So I’m returning it.

Jil, on my $5/20 coupon it specifically reads the cashier instructions are to scan or manually enter the store coupon first before manufacturer coupons. So I don’t know why they are giving people a hard time. I’m going to the store today I’ll update you on my experience later.
Dollar General always gives me a hard time! I hate going there because of that but they do have the best deals especially when they have the $5 off of $20. I am on my way there now…hope all goes well.
Okay so I just got back and sure enough…they weren’t going to take my $10 gillette proglide coupon. They said I didnt buy the cartridge…of course I had to advise them that you can buy either the cartridge or the disposable. So they told me i had to wait for the manager. I advised them that a manager would only need to turn the key. The supervisor turned the key and to their surprise the $10 came off and the supervisor said, just give it to her…ugh. I ended up spending like $8 because I added $3 worth of coloring books and the duracell batteries were $3.50 vs. Greg’s $2.50….I suppose I could have just gotten less than 4 packs…oh well. I also made the mistake of not getting the snuggle dryer sheets from the dollar isle…I guess I overlooked that instruction…yikes! Oh well, I am still satisfied with my haul!
