Sounds great but I am a little bit confused…. you said we can only buy 2 paypal cards per CVS card account… so after paying $5 to activate paypal card 1 and load $150 I get 50 ECB…I then use paypal card 1 to purchase paypal card 2 and activate it for $5…. but will I need to load paypal card 2 up with another 150 to qualify for the 50 ECB?
Or are you saying that I am supposed to use the $150 balance from paypal card 1 to purchase and load paypal card 2 thus qualifying for the 50 ECB?

I am so bummed I went to six different stores yesterday to find them and could not find the cards anywhere I have four kids I need to find those cards LOL!!! Is there a number for CVS that we can call to see if they can look up which stores might have some left?

You can’t transfer from that card to PayPal account. Don’t activate until ready to use. It charges an additional $4.95 within first 36 hours and it is linked to your SSN. To avoid the additional charge, you have to use it all up which is why he is saying use one card to purchase the other. I used mine for groceries and all the regular stuff…I am cancelling today to avoid additional fees.
I was able to find lots of these at my store. Yay! I purchased the first card and got the $50 ecb. Went out my car and activated the card online which was very easy on my iPhone. I went back in to do the deal again using the PayPal MasterCard just purchased and I wasn’t able to use the card to purchase another card. I checked the fine print on the cardholder agreement and it does state that some retailers will decline the card when used during split transactions. Since I only put $150 on first card, that would leave a $4.95 activation fee balance to pay with another debit card for the second PayPal MasterCard … I was not allowed to do that. Maybe I can add $4.95 to the first PayPal MasterCard so that when I go buy the second card, I only have to use one card to purchase the second card. I want that second $50 ecb. Lol
How long is this deal good for. I tried and it was a disaster for me. Now im left with a $0 balance on my first card and my debit card was charged 9.90. My cvs kept the other card and all my receipts. Praying it all works out. What a mess!
Buying first card was okay. Trying to do second card was a disaster when transaction auto voided leaving me with no second card and zero balance on the first. So I’m waiting for credit to get back to the card to re-do the transaction. I believe you should select “credit”as form of payment when using this card to purchase another card and this will not happen.
I purchased first card, tried to do 2nd and pay with first. Tried as debit, credit, and money no go. Then I tried paying the 4.95 in cash first! It worked! Pay the 4.95 in cash first, then pay with paypal debit as a debit card. Only problem was they had already taken out first month’s “fee”. I hadn’t even had the card 24 hours! So watch out for that, but still a money maker.

I heard that there is another deal at Shaw’s which I don’t have, and Albertson’s, ditto, that if you buy a $100 Master Card, you receive a $20 Catalina!

Yes, you load the 2nd card with the $150 from the first card and then pay the $4.95

The online ad says 1 per household, is it for sure allowing 2 per card?
My cvs said cash only to pay for and load onto the card, so there is no way this would work. Besides, it took 45 min on the phone for me to activate
